Meet Janine…
My name is Janine Krasovskis Founder and CEO of LocLd. I’m a mature student pursuing Business Analytics at Niagara College and I’m combining my passion for data-driven decision-making with a deep-rooted connection to my community. This online business began as a school project, but its grown into something much more meaningful. A way to support local small businesses, retailers, and farmers across our region.
My inspiration comes from my family’s history. My grandfather was a local egg farmer back in the 1950s, embodying the values of hard work, resilience, and community spirit. Those same values guide me today as I build this platform to connect local producers and retailers with customers who appreciate quality, locally sourced goods, and maybe even finding local suppliers they.ve never had the chance to know before.
Proudly Canadian, as the Founder I believe in supporting homegrown businesses and fostering strong local economies. This venture is more than just a business its a tribute to the legacy of Canadian entrepreneurship, rooted in tradition but powered by modern technology.
